Brief Answer:
Electroneuromyography if the pain persists
Detailed Answer:
Hello again,
Inter scalene brachial plexus block performed with a standardized technique is associated with a very low incidence of complications. carpal tunnel syndrome, complex regional pain syndrome and plexus neuropathy are some of the possibilities based on your presentation. Electroneuromyography should be advised if the pain worsens or is associated with persistent Paresthesia and dysesthesias and does not respond to NSAIDs and other pain medication, in consult with a neurologist.
Thanks.
