What Does "small Linear Tear The Anterior Aspect Of The Infraspinatus Tendon" Mean?
Question: best treatment? don't see physician until Nov 25 just got back mdi and shoulder is very sore
A small linear tear the anterior aspect of the infraspinatus tendon distally whiic is the full thickness of the tendon.
Mild tendinosis with low grade bursal sided partial tear on the the posterior aspect of the supraspinatus tendon
reactive marrow edema at the lateral aspect of humeral head.
fluid in the sub deltoid bursa
mild osteoarthis of the acromeiclavical joint
type 2 horizontal acromion is seen

I have gone through your query and understand your concern. The mild tears usually heal with time, so have patience.
I would like to treat you with-
1. Rest to shoulder joint that is avoid lifting heavy weights and activities which involve lifting arm above head.
2. Hot water fomentation along with physiotherapy has a role for early recovery.
3. Pain killer tablet like Aleve especially at bedtime as pain is more at night time.
4. Short course of oral cortisone like Deflazacort helps.
It usually takes few weeks time for pain and restricted movement to go away.
