What Does Spotting During Pregnancy Indicate?

default
Posted on Wed, 8 Feb 2017
Question: I am 14+4 days pregnant. Yesterday after opening bowels there was some blood when I wiped. I could not distinguish where it came from but it seem to be from the front R.E.M.'s there than the back.
This morning I wiped before going to the toilet as still worried. Again after opening my bowels the same thing happened but more this time. Again it seemed to be vaginally. No bleeding since.

Brief Answer:
Ultrasound advised

Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand your concerns.
Bleeding can occur in second trimester due to bleeding around the fetus known as subchorionic hemorrhage, low lying placenta or abortion.
The diagnosis needs to be confirmed by proper examination and ultrasound.
I will suggest you to consult an OBGYN specialist to get properly examined and get an ultrasound done to confirm the diagnosis and get further treatment accordingly.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
