What Does Sudden Episode Of Hearing Loss In The Ear Indicate?
Question: I had sudden hearing loss in one of my ear, doctor first given steriod injection of methylpredrisdone 1g for and complanima injection for 4 days, thereafter the medicine has been prescribed
Complamina tab 2 times a day
Tab Omnacortil 20 mg 3 times a day
Pan D 2 times a day
Tab ACIVIR 800 mg
Tab Neurobion forte
carbogen therapy for 5 dats
I have little recovery in hearing, however there is continuous high pitched loud noise is coming from inside of my ear, please suggest how this can be reduced or stop, this sound has been increased in last 2 days, pleaes suggest how to stop this noise coming from inside of my damaged ear

I have gone through your question and your prescription and I would like to suggest that you may take the Enzocort steroid instead the omnacortil to reduce the systemic side effect of the steroid medicine such as swelling in the leg.
I would also prescribe you anti anxiety medicine for the tinnitus such as the alprazolem 0.25 mg once in the night to reduce the severity of tinnitus.
