What Does Terminal Dilatation Of Left Fallopian Tube?
Question: I did not have child from 5 yrs of marriage. Recently gone for hsg. the reports say that uterus filled normally. Right tube filled till the end with the XXXXXXX Spill not seen. Left tube shows terminal dilatation and spill of XXXXXXX has smudged the rest of the tube. some XXXXXXX has entered the pelvic vessels.

1. HSG is hysterosalpingograpny and is study of uterus and tubes. This is done ot know of any structural problem in uterus and tubes that is not allowing pregnancy to happen and is a common test when evaluating female infertility.
2. In your HSG report
(i) Uterus is normal in shape and appearance.
(ii) Right side tube is seen alone its extent however there is a nlock seen at the end. This is described as "spill not seen".
(iii) Left tube is visualized and shows normal appearance with spill seen at the end.
3. In conclusion, the uterus and left tube are normal. There might be a possible block in the right tube at the end.
