Detailed Answer:
Hi again,
Answers are-
1)Consider stomach as a ballon and think that you are sitting inside this ballon. Now what you can see is inner surface of ballon. Now stomach is also a bag.The inner surface of it is called epithelium.
Now gastritis increases acid levels which irritates continuously this inner surface so easiest way is to coat this inner surface with something which prevent acid to come in contact with inner layer(sucralfate does the same) it covers the inner surface of stomach and hence protect inner surface of stomach(epithelium).
2)Yes anything in stomach would reach small intestine also.So yes it would cover epithelium their also and hence would help to prevent ulcers.Secondly sucralfate has healing properties also so apart from just binding it would also help to heal the ulcers.
3) Practically interval of 10 minutes between both are ok.
4)30 minutes after taking sucralfate.
Hope it clears your doubt.
