What Does The Holter Monitoring Test Indicate?

default
Posted on Thu, 4 Jun 2015
Question: I had a 48 hour holter with results:
1) Predominant rhythm was sinus with intact AV conduction.
2) Extremely rare atrial ectopy occurring as PAC's and rare couplets (<0.01% complezes recorded)
3) Extremely rare isolated PVC's with 1 couplet recorded (<0.1% total beats.)
4) There was no Bradycardia.
5) No diary is available.
FINAL INTERPRETATION: NORMAL HOLTER MONITOR RECORDING
I'm not sure what to think, I went in because I feel like my heart jumps and races, feeling pressure over chest, sometimes feel like knot in throat, dizzy at random times.
----- should I be concerned? or seek a second opinion, or ask for further testing?

Brief Answer:
Nothing to be concerned...

Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX

I have gone through the result of your Holter monitoring and found it within normal range.

There is nothing to be concerned. However I advise to run echocardiogram and stress test to confirm you have nothing to worry about.

Hope this was of help!
Wish you health!
