What Does The X-ray Report Indicate?

default
Posted on Wed, 3 Jun 2015
Question: Hello,
Recently my uncle had a hip bone surgery (had fracture due to motorbike accident, screw join was performed -- not sure about the medical terminology) and during the process his blood test was performed. Blood report (attached) shows some hepatitis tests. The operation was successful, but he is bit concerned about the blood report and whether it was conducive to perform the operation. In your opinion is the report normal? Does he need to consult or be careful about any type of hepatitis? What kind of food he should take? How long it will take for him to recover from the surgery?

Brief Answer:
The report is totally normal! Was totally safe to do the surgery!

Detailed Answer:
Hi and thank you so much for this query.

I am so sorry to hear about this report and all the inconveniences this must have caused you. I have reviewed this information fully and the test results are all normal. He has no reasons to be afraid of any form of hepatitis. However, I will recommend that he gets vaccinated against hepatitis A and B if he has never been vaccinated because we have very good and cheap vaccines against these infections. Hepatitis C however has no vaccine as of now.

Remember alcohol and smoking are not also good for health. Fruits, vegetables and home cooked meals are always the best way to go.

I hope this helps. I wish you well. Thanks for using our services and do feel free to ask for more information and clarifications if need be.
