What Does The Cholesterol Level Indicate In My Blood Test Report?

Question: Hello- i recently received my blood report with some notations in the cholesterol field.
32 year F
non smoker
LDL cholesterol 2.72
HDL cholesterol 1.62
Chol/HDL ration 2.92
non HDL cholesterol 3.11

what does this mean? am i at risk for CVD?

hello and thank you for asking HCM,

I understand your concern. All your values are normal so there is no reason to worry. Your history is also without any risk factors. The only CVD risk is your family history. A positive family history doesn't necessery mean that you must develop these diseases, but you can. Therefore, my suggestion is to check your blood, sugar, blood pressure and heart every year to discover developmet of mentioned diseases on time.
Until than try to eat healthy, non fat food, excercise regularly and avoid smoking and drinking as you did before.
