Thank you, but I had meant to attach my resting echo which I assume also looks normal. The reason is for the past year exactly after a cold virus I have had symptoms that appear to be consistent with a cardiovascular issue (listed in order of frequency):
- Fatigue, especially post exercise for about 2 days.
- Orthostatic Intolerance
- Swollen feet and ankles
- High body fluid retention

Is there anything that in my resting echo that might indicate CHF w/ normal ejection fraction?

I went through your echo exam as well. The only slight variation is borderline enlarged left ventricle.
But with ejection fraction more than 55% and with your stress test results it can't cause any symptoms. And heart failure is excluded in this case.

You should look for another cause of your symptoms.

I would like to ask some questions;
1.When your complaints started
2.Do you have complaints till now
3. do you have swollen feet and ankles at present, or you had it only a year ago, then you had viral infection

My complaints started a little over a year ago and have had complaints all the way up til now. My ankles are always a little swollen, some days really bad where I can't see my ankle bone. I hope you're right about the CHF. I had read that you can have normal ejection fraction but if the Left ventricle deceleration is less than 160 ms than this is a restrictive pattern (CHF). Are you familiar?

The other thing I notice is that when I lie down and elevate my legs, I develop a bit of a cough... also a symptom of CHF.

Detailed Answer:
Dear Sir,

Heart failure can have two main causes, the first one is low heart contractility, which is excluded in your case as your heart have good contractile function.
The second type of heart failure is heart failure with preserved ejection fraction, which is caused by diastolic dysfunction. In this case we have impaired relaxation of left ventricle. It is diagnosed with some parameters, one of which is deceleration time. Based on your echo report, there is good diastolic function, so you can't have diastolic dysfunction, and therefore heart failure with preserved ejection fraction.
Your mentioned symptoms can be caused by not CHF, but also by many other diseases.
I think you should look for another cause, such as venous, renal problems or hormonal changes.
