What Does The Following CT Scan Of The Lungs Indicate?
Question: ct scan of lungs showed patchy light opicities in the right lung. in may i had blood work for kidney stones, and was told my body lacks vitamins. i was told i should eat vegetables and fruits. i told the doctor i don't. would this clear out opicities in the lungs? i am being asked to have a pet scan.
Brief Answer:
you need the PET scan
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thank you for your question
The replacement of vitamins would make you feel much better but it would not clear up opacities in the lungs. Opacities can be from old scar tissue, from infection or from cancer.
You need to sort this out by getting the PET scan.
If you do not want to eat a healthy diet at least take a multivitamin daily so that your body will work better and you will feel better.
Best wishes to you,
