What Does The Following MRI Report Indicate?
Question: I have no idea what is on MRI , i have called my doctor to ask her some queston but she never responded. I want to know if i should be concern or can this matter wait until i find myself another doctor.

As we discussed earlier,you have benign findings.There is nothing to be worried about.
You have three findings.
First one is related to pituitary cyst in brain.It is a benign condition.You need follow up scan.Your lesion is small and it is unlikely to cause any symptoms.If it increases in size or causes any symptoms then you should consult neurosurgeon.
Next finding is related to non specific white matter lesions in brain.As discussed,it also need follow up scan and need few investigations like random blood sugar,lipid profile,screening for hypertension.
Lesions greater than five in number should be the cause of concern.Large number lesions may be related to ischemic changes,demyelination,post traumatic sequel etc.
Last finding is related to changes of chronic sinusitis.You should avoid allergen and if there is associated problem like deviated nasal septum etc,it should be corrected.You should consult ENT specialist.

I did have blood work completed before my MRI, my cholestrol, total was 274, triglycerides 278, HDL Cholestrol 38, and the VLDL cholestrol cal 56, LDL cholestrol calc is 180 and my Platelets 443 and my lymps (absolute) is 4.2 my WBC is 11.1
My cholestrol is never high this was the first time. I always have high triglycerides.
