Brief Answer:
PCOD is the scan report.
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX and welcome to HCM.
As an Urologist, I can understand your concern.
The scan shows, that XXXXXXX has bilateral cysts in both her ovaries.
This is called polycystic ovaries or PCOD. It also suggests that there may be tiny stones,in the kidney.
That's not significant in the kidney.
You've not written what where her symptoms. What was the reason for consulting a gynecologist.
Wishing her well.

Thank you Doctor for your quick reply.
The reason to go for ultrasound is more intuitive then symptom based. However, XXXXXXX since about a month has been feeling pain in her back (right side).
We have not consulted any gynecologist as of now. Do you recommend consulting one?
Since we are not from medical background so it will be helpful if you can explain PCOD, its severity and line of treatment.
Thanks,
XXXX

Brief Answer:
PCOD treatment depends on symptoms.
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
PCOD is seen in 2-20%women in her age group. There's nothing to worry about. symptoms commonly seen include, irregular periods, absence of menses, heavy bleeding, hair growth over body, and infertility.
If any of these are present, she should consult a gynecologist.
Some women have diabetes type 2,and hypothyroidism with it.
So reassure her.
Wishing her well.
