Question: My Hemoglobin is 19, WBC is 14700, MCH is 39.5, MCV is 100. Is this dangerous?

What kind of treatment do I need?

All other values are in normal range.

I have gone through your question.
I can understand your concern.

Your hemoglobin is very high. you have polycythemia. It can be primary polycythemia Vera or secondary polycythemia.

You should go for EPO level and JAK 2 mutation study. It will give you exact diagnosis.

Treatment aim is to reduce red cell mass for longest survival with least complications.
Option being used are phlebotomy with or without anti platelets agents, hydroxyurea and interfering alpha.
Consult your doctor and plan accordingly.

But my RBC is within limits

It is my WBC count that as high. So how can it be polycythemia?
My RBC count is 5.29

Your hemoglobin is 19 that is very high. So that it can be polycythemia. Don't worry about slightly high WBC count. It is common in myeloproliferative disorders like polycythemia.

Your hemoglobin is very high and it will increase your blood viscosity so you need to decrease it by reducing red cell mass.
