What Does The Following Blood Test Report Suggest?

Everything came back fine with the exception of my LIPASE level is at 93 U/L.
According to my GP this is slightly above the acceptable level, Please your opinion on this result and what should I do next.
The only medication I take is tegretol for my trigeminal neuralgia.
I do not drink only on weekends 2 to 3 glasses of wine, never during the week. The night prior to test I did not eat 12 prior to blood test, absolutely no alcohol.
Increase in lipase alone is not important.
Detailed Answer:
Hi.
Thanks for your query and an elucidate history.
Panrease produces lipase, amylase and professes as enzymes of digestion.
Out of these the estimation of amylase is more specific of pancreatitis. Lipase alone increase in such a quantity is not diagnostic of any disease as such and not to feared at all.
I too would advise you to repeat after 1 month as suggested by your Doctor.
I do not think that Tegretol or wine in such a quantity can cause such a problem.
I hope you do not have pancreatitis and your reports of ultrasonography and CT scan of abdomen are normal.
I was just wondering why was the tests ordered for.
I hope this answer helps you, please feel free to ask further relevant queries if you need to or if you feel that there is a gap of communication.
