Question: Dear Doctor,
We are trying for baby, on doctors follow up she took a scan (USG of pelvis: follicular study) on 10th day after periods. Can you pls tell us is this normal? I have attached the scan report for the same.

Hi XXXX, I have gone through your question and understand your concerns. The report of the follicular monitoring you have attached is completely normal for 10 th day of menstrual cycle. The right ovary shows a follicle of 11.5 X 17.3 mm , which is likely to become dominant and rupture to ovulate on the coming days. Left ovary shows a follicle of 8 x 13 mm.Endometrial thickness is 5.9 mm which is completely normal for 10 th day.
