Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX,
Thanks for posting your query in HealthCare Magic,
I have read through your query and have also viewed the attached reports.
Your lipid profile shows that you have a borderline higher value for serum triglycerides whereas, rest of the parameters are absolutely fine. The prescription given to you by your treating doctor contains statins( Tab. Rosumac Gold) which is used to treat the high triglycerides.
I would suggest you to make some lifestyle changes as if it gets controlled with that, you may not need to continue the medication rather a timely check up would be enough;
- maintain a healthy weight
- have to maintain diabetic control
- avoid addictions(alcohol, smoking if any)
- daily brisk walking for a minimum of 45 mins is mandatory
- consuming omega 3 fatty acid supplements has been proved to reduce triglyceride levels
Nothing much to get worried about, remain calm, stress free, and stay healthy by regular exercise and a healthy diet.
Hope I have answered to your query,
Please feel free to discuss further or else kindly close and rate
Regards and best wishes

will suggest some remedies
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for follow up,
It's good to know that you have stopped smoking a while back. One hour walking is good enough for you.
For starters, let me reassure you that 143 is not that high a level for much concern.
I would suggest some remedies you can make use of in addition to the medications advised for you and your regular work out.
- add more garlic in your diet. Eating raw garlic pods 2-3 in the morning has proved to reduce TGL counts
- cod-liver oil which is rich in omega 3 fatty acids is a good hypolipodemic agent and has proved to reduce all lipid parameters.
- consuming a mixture of apple cider vinegar along with some honey in a glass of water is also reported to reduce TGL.
- take food which is minimal in fat and which will boost digestion.
If you are on Tab. Rosumac Gold, I would suggest you to discuss about the dosage with your doctor.
As such you don't have much high levels, just make sure to get repeated blood check ups.
Hope this helps
Thanks and regards
