What Does The Following Pelvic MRI Report Indicate?

Interpretation your MRI report
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX, thanks for asking from HCM.
I can understand your concern. I will explain you your MRI findings one by one
Bone marrow reconversion - It is a normal age related process. The red bone marrow is present in young age which is replaced by yellow marrow around 30 years. It is happening in you which is showing heterogeneity on MRI. SO no need to worry about it.
Bilateral lymph node are present but no lymphadenopathy - It means your lymph nodes (normal small glands containing immune cells) are present. There size is normal as no lymphadenopathy (large size lymph node). Lymphadenopathy occurs in case of infection, cancer. SO it is also normal in you.
Perineural root sleeve cysts at S1 level can cause problem of pain (neuropathic), severe, radiating to foot. As it can be considered significant, if it is symptomatic, you should not worry if no pain.
This cyst is a benign cyst which is most probably arised because of degeneration of nerve sheaths/Inflammation and CSF filling in it. It can increase in size and can cause symptoms. There is no medication which can reduce its size.
If it symptomatic, painkillers or surgery are the options, you can opt for.
Thanks. Take care.
If any doubt, do let me know.
