Brief Answer:
Thyroid
Detailed Answer:
1 Her thyroid function tests are considered normal because her TSH , T3 and T4 are in the normal range.
2 There is nothing to be done about these right now.
3 If she has a family history of thyroid problems, particularly first degree / blood relations (parents, siblings or children) with
Goiter (thyroid swelling in the neck) or
Over active or under active thyroid conditions
or if these family members are on any type of thyroid medication
then it would be prudent to have your mother check her TSH once a year or so to make sure her thyroid remains normal.
