What Does The Following Thyroid Test Result Indicate?

Thyroid
Detailed Answer:
There is no reason to panic.
She is receiving a moderately higher dose than her body needs. Your doctor advised the right thing......ie to reduce the dose after delivery of the baby.
When I see someone like you in my practice I typically lower the dose to 50 mcg and recheck the Free T4 and TSH in 6 weeks.
However it is important to note the range for Total T4 and Total T3 on the lab report that you have now. Various labs have differing methods to test the blood T4 levels. So it is important to go by the reference range for normal in individual labs. It appears to me that the Total T4 in this case is clearly above the upper limit of normal.
In any event, Free T4 is a better test and gives useful information about the thyroid dose replacement along with the TSH.
Kindly note that the TSH may take couple months to recover to normal. So do not be guided by the TSH alone. A free T4 reading in the range of normal after 6 weeks is a fairly reliable indicator that the 50 mcg levo thyroxine dose is adequate.
I strongly suggest you see a formally qualified Endocrinologist to manage this, as thyroid conditions can be challenging to manage.
