What Does The Following Ultrasound Report Indicate?
Ectopic pregnancy should be ruled out
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
I have gone through your question and understand the concerns.
The ultrasound at 5 weeks gestation should show gestational sac in the uterus.
If not seen, then it is either delayed conception or ectopic pregnancy.
The thick walled structure in the ovary is most probably the corpus luteum cyst, however the ovarian ectopic pregnancy should be ruled out.
Beta hCG values should be double in 48 hours in a normal intrauterine pregnancy, and your values are just less than double.
I will suggest you to get a Doppler transvaginal ultrasound to rule out any ectopic pregnancy.
If ruled out, then you should get a repeat scan after 2 weeks to confirm the gestation age.
Hope you found the answer helpful.

Likely to be a viable intrauterine pregnancy
Detailed Answer:
Hi dear,
If in 24 hours, the beta hCG increased almost double, then it is likely to be a viable intrauterine pregnancy.
I will suggest you to get a repeat scan after 2 weeks.
