What Does The Following Urinanalysis Report Indicate?
Question: I had a urinalysis 2 days ago. What do the following results mean : Appearance : slightly cloudy ,
Blood : large , Protein : 30 mg , Microscopic RBC : 182 HPF , Microscopic WBC : 7 NPF , Bacteria : Occasional. 2 days ago I felt a pain in my right lower back, thinking it was a sciatica problem. At times I have felt slightly fatigued in mid afternoons. I do not see blood in my urine; nor is it burning or uncomfortable to urinate. My internist wants me back in one month. I'm concerned with kidney cancer.

Brief Answer:
Blood in urine present
Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thanks for your query.
This urine report suggests blood in urine. It is always not visible to naked eye, that's why microscopic examination is done. Coupled with the pain, first possibility is stone in urinary tract.
I would recommend an urgent ultrasound to look at the probable cause. Then we can proceed further.
Hope this helps.
