Brief Answer:
UTI most likely

Detailed Answer:
Hi
The report and the symptoms of your wife are suggestive of a classical urinary tract infection. If this is the first episode, you should gave a good response to antibiotics. I hope her periods are regular.
Ideally you should give a sample of urine for culture and sensitivity. The report will take about 48hours to arrive but in the meanwhile you can start her on a reasonably good antibacterial such as Nitrofurantoin at doses of 100mg twice daily with meals till culture report is ready. You can also get her to take 10ml of an alkalinizing syrup like citra-alka thrice daily diluted with water after meals. This will help ease her discomfort. She can take plenty of oral fluids as well to flush out the debris.
You can continue the nitrofurantoin for a total if 7 days if the culture report says the bacteria are sensitive to this.
Hope I have been of help.
Best wishes.
