What Does The Following Widal Test Report Indicate?

Question: Respected Dr.
I was feeling weakness & no test seance in mouth I did widal test which shows Positive (S typhi O 1:160,S typhi H 1:320 ,S Para Typhi AH 1:320 ,S Para Typhi BH 1:160 )
But I had no fever. Please advice.

A widal test value of 320 indicates its Typhoid Infection, but it is extremely unlikely for one to have Typhoid and no fever.

Widal test can sometime give false positive results. It means it can show positive to typhoid even though the person is not having Typhoid . Hence I recommend you to go for a more confirmatory test called IgM Typhi Dot . Kindly get this test done and revert back with report.
