Brief Answer:
Conservative treatment needed.

Detailed Answer:
Hello,
Thanks for posting your query.
The findings of your MRI scan are suggestive of mild degenerative changes in the knee joint due to the injury. There are no torn menisci.
This should slowly subside with hot fomentation, proper relaxation and regular exercises to improve mobility of the joint.
Conservative treatment will help you.
In case, It does not subside on its own or it is associated with severe pain, and swelling around the joint then intra articular steroid injections may be needed.
You can use an elastic knee brace to help.
I hope this answers your query.
In case you have additional questions or doubts, you can forward them to me, and I shall be glad to help you out.

Brief Answer:
Due to inflammation and degeneration in the knee.

Detailed Answer:
Hello.
Thanks for writing again.
The pain and other symptoms that you are having are due to the inflammatory changes in the knee. Adequate rest, knee brace and joint lubricant supplements like Glucosamine and dycerin will help. Get these prescribed from your orthopedician.
