What Does The Lower Abdominal CT Scan Report Indicate?
Its too early to say, he has no diagnosis yet.
Detailed Answer:
Hello!
Thank you for the query.
What is the SUV of revealed in the PET scan lesions in bones? What does the PET scan say about the mass in the lungs and lymph nodes? Does he smoke? does he have cough, weight loss, night sweats, tiredness? (I know you have mentioned that he is asymptomatic)
It is really hard to tell about the hope, prognosis etc. What we know for now, is that he has a mass in the lung, enlarged lymph node and some suspicious lesions in the bones. As long as there is no cancer diagnosis, everything is possible.
If all this lesions will be confirmed as a cancer with bones metastases (it would be stage IV), his chances for cure are very low.
But its really to early to say and think about his chances. He needs to have a tumor biopsy (made during the surgery) and pathologist report. Thoracic surgeon is the right person to visit next.
Hope this will help. Feel free to ask further questions.
Regards.
Targeted therapy and chemosensitivity test can extend his life.
Detailed Answer:
It all depends what will be the response for chemotherapy. Classic chemotherapy is very ineffective against lung cancer.
Targeted therapy is what you should look for. Such therapy is based on the receptors present on the cancer cells (receptor is a special protein on the surface of the cell which allows to interact with some medicines). Giving specific antibody (works similar to antibodies against bacteria) there is a chance to kill more cancer cells. To establish which antibody will react with cancer cell, special tests should be done to detect the receptors.
Chemosensitivity test is another option. We have available plenty of chemotherapy agents. It is possible to find out which will be able to kill cancer cell. Cancer cell is collected with biopsy and special tests are performed in a laboratory.
Both chemosensitivity test and targeted therapy can be connected to give best possible results.
Radiotherapy should be also used. It can destroy bones metastases and give some relief from the pain.
Hope this will help.

His good general condition is necessary to get chemotherapy.
Detailed Answer:
In the previous query you have assumed that his chances for cure are low. I assume that you already have cancer diagnosis, havent you?
His general condition seems fine. This will be needed in case of chemotherapy. This treatment can be given only to the group of patients which are in good general condition. He seems to be in a good condition.
But still if there is no diagnosis, nothing is certain.
