Other than a previous anemia studies from Nov 2015 showed Ferritin level of 24 and iron 10, low and borderline respectively. Present test shows improved Ferritin but still borderline. Could there be any relation between this and RBC in stool?

Brief Answer:
get colonoscopy and endoscopy examination
Detailed Answer:
Hello. Thanks for putting your query in hcm.
Presence of RBC in stool indicates bleeding from GI tract.
Also if there is loss of blood from GI tract it will lead to deficiency of iron in body leading to decrease in ferritin levels and iron store.
So I will suggest you to get endoscopy and colonoscopy to see for the cause of bleeding. So visit a Gastroenterologist for evaluation
I hope I have answered your query and this will help you. Wish you a good health
