Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXX,
Thanks for writing in to us.

I have read through your query in detail.
Doing ultrasound scans regularly I come across many patients with problems like you are having.

Benign prostate hypertrophy (BPH) is a condition when the prostate gland which is a potato like organ below the urinary bladder gets enlarged and causes difficulty in passing urine. You have grade III BPH and this means the size is big. This is also obstructing passage of urine and Residual Urine Volume (RUV) is 299 cc which is high.

You require prostate surgery and should consult an urologist near your place. Medication will not help in grade III BPH. If you do not get surgery done then due to urinary obstruction you might have kidney failure. Surgery is safe and patient will recover quickly.

Hope this answers your question. Please feel free to correct any oversight in my interpretation of your problems and discuss them in detail as per your requirements.

Hope your query is answered.
Do write back if you have any doubts.

Regards,
Dr.Vivek
