What Does The Stool Culture Test Results Indicate?

Question: Hi Doctor pls find my stool culture as attachments.

Pls tell me is that candida?? and other test shall i do to confirm ?? and what is medicine?
and is there treatment and it is curable ??? is that related to hiv ?? iHave had in my gentile one month ago? please advise

Hi back,

Thank you for providing the requested lab report.

I have gone through your lab results and found nothing worrisome. With regards to the presence of yeast cells, please take note that yeast is normal part of intestinal flora.

If the balance is broken, yeast will thrive.

There are various factors to break the balance :
- antibiotic use
- bowel infection

As long as no infectious disease has been reported so far, then the presence of yeast is related to recent antibiotics use.

Once again, that is normal and not worrisome. Antifungal treatment is advised together with probiotics use.
