What Does This BP Reading Of 138 Indicate?
Question: WHAT IF MY BLOOD PRESSURE IS 138 - IS IT ON HIGH SIDE FOR MY AGE.
Brief Answer:
Under limit.. but prefer to bring it lower.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
It would have been better if you mentioned the diastolic (lower) BP reading too.
Systolic (upper) BP of 138 is considered the upper range of normal. So you can take it as within limits. That being said, at this age, it is important you follow life style measures such as lowering salt intake, exercise, adequate sleep and destressing measures to prevent future risks of hypertension.
Hope this helps. Let me know if you need clarifications.

Brief Answer:
Perhaps related to nerves...
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Unfortunately the symptoms you described are too broad and I am unable to narrow down the cause. But since it occurs / aggravates with movement / position, it might be related to connective tissue / spine nerves. Without physical examination it is difficult to confirm the cause. Therefore I would like to know if you had been examined by a doctor / undergone tests related to this problem. If yes, please share them with me.
Awaiting your response.

Thanks Doctor. I hv not gone for any physical examination. Once done , wl keep u informed.
Brief Answer:
Visit a physician...
Detailed Answer:
Those symptoms doesn't sound serious. However to understand the cause and its treatment a physical examination is essential. I would suggest visiting a physician first. He/she can then refer you to an orthopedician if the doctor too feels its a connective tissue / spine nerve related concern.
I will be glad to discuss this further once you have evaluation report / opinion from the doctor.
