Detailed Answer:
Hi Sir,
Thanks for writing in to us.
I have read through your query in detail.
Please find my observations below.
1. A type 3 LAD is the type of branching of the left anterior descending branch of left coronary artery in which the artery branch wraps around the left ventricular apex and travels some distance in the posterior inter-ventricular groove. This is a normal anatomical variant and not a problem.
2. Distal left main coronary artery is the end branch of the left main coronary artery and you have a small calcification in this part. Small plaques are acceptable in elderly patients and unless there is more than 70 percent block, nothing needs to be done. Your calcific plaque might be small and therefore not significant.
You can get a cholesterol level testing done to know your cholesterol numbers and risk of heart conditions.
Please continue to maintain a healthy lifestyle by eating a balanced 1800 to 2200 kcal daily diet containing nutrients and vitamins. Oils and fats and processed foods can be reduced if possible. A daily 30 minutes workout or light exercises can be a part of your fitness schedule. Decrease your stress and anxiety levels.
Hope your query is answered.
Please do write back if you have any doubts.
Regards,
