Question: Hi,

My 62 yr old FIL has been having high BP from 5 days . Ranging from 160/90 to 220/100.
The cardiologist suggested angiogram and confirmed that there are no major issues and referred to a neurologist. who then prescribed a brain CT scan.
I have attached all the reports. Just looking for a second opinion on the attached CT scan report.

Brief Answer:
CT brain shows slight reduced blood flow to brain.

Detailed Answer:
Hi,

Thank you for posting your query.

I am Dr Sudhir Kumar, Neurologist, and would try my best to help you.

I have noted the medical details of your father-in-law. CT scan of brain shows mild reduced blood supply to brain; which has occurred as a result of high blood pressure.

Treatment would include: 1. control of blood pressure; 2. Use of aspirin.

There is no need to worry, as it is a minor problem and can be managed with medicines.

I sincerely hope my reply has helped you.

I would be pleased to answer, if you have any follow up queries or if you require any further information.
