
What Does This ECG Report Indicate?

Question: 44 yrs Female, height 152/ Weight 71 kg with history of hypertension since 2 yrs on Tablet Telmikind as per attached ECG doctor has reported VPCS , please suggest the reason for same , probable prognosis , Recommended further tests and treatment and probable outcome

After going through the medical details and the ecg report provided by you i would like to tell you that ECG is showing VPCs which usually are not a matter of concern untill unless they keep on happening frequently or causes dizziness or discomfort to the patient.
Common causes includes:
Stress, More that usual comsuption of coffee, tobacco, alcohol, medicines specially drugs used of asthma treatment, electrolyte derangement, coronary artery disease.
Prognosis, outcome is usually good.
Further tests include HOLTER Monitoring to see the frequency of VPC whole day.
