I would explain as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello!

Welcome and thank you for asking on HCM!

Regarding your concern, I would explain that these finding are not indicative of any serious medical condition and could be related to atherosclerosis and uncontrolled high blood pressure.

I would like to directly review your uploaded echo report for a more professional opinion.

I would also advise you to periodically follow up every 6-12 months with cardiac ultrasound to monitor the possible progression of these findings.

Some lifestyle modifications are important to stop the progression of these disorders:
-reduce saturated fat and carbohydrates in your diet and increase food reach in omega 3 fatty acids (walnuts, fish, fish oil, olive oil, etc.). A periodical control of your blood lipid profile is necessary to investigate for dyslipidemia.
- perform a lot of physical activity (aerobics, walking, etc.)
- avoid smoking contacts and alcohol.

A close monitoring of your blood pressure is also necessary, because a better control of blood pressure can slow the progression of these echo findings.

Hope you will find this answer helpful!

I would recommend as follows:

Detailed Answer:
Hello again!

Thank you for the additional information.

Considering the fact that you are obese, I would recommend trying to lose some pounds. You can consult with a dietitian to help you with this issue too. Losing some pounds will help you have a better management of your blood pressure values and also blood lipid profile.

Regarding proteinuria, it can be a sign of kidney disease. For this reason, it is important performing further kidney function tests and an ultrasound of the urinary tract and kindneys. I would recommend discussing with an Internal medicine specialist on this issue. From the other hand proteinuria predisposes to dyslipidemia.

Hope to have clarified some of your uncertainties!

Let me know about everything!

Wishing good health,

Dr. Iliri
