What Does This EKG Report Indicate?

Question: My husband had an ekg with marked sinus bradycardia with sinus arrthythmia, abnormal qrs-t angle. Consider primary t wave abnormality. Canyou tell me the significance of this. His heart rate was as low as 40 bpm.

I am so sorry to hear about these findings. I have reviewed his information and he was being over treated with metoprolol. This is the most likely reason for these abnormal findings. I will say these are caused by metoprolol and should be repeated sometime say 2weeks after getting the reduced dose of metoprolol. In all, put these findings on hold as they could be grossly misleading and we will control in 2weeks.
