I am very thankful for your comment.
The Doctor to which is shown has suggested surgery which I am not preferring.
Can't it be cured by medication? Can you prescribe some medicine or a way to remove this.
Surgical excision will be required followed by antibiotic cover.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again.
The infected cyst needs to be removed or excised.
The excision can take place under local anaesthesia since the lesion is superficial.
Medication will not be of much help.
However, you may take pain killer in case the lesion is painful but this will be a temporary and definitive treatment requires removal of cyst.
An antibiotic cover will be required after surgical excision of the cyst.
Thank and take care

The procedure is day care procedure, not too expensive but may vary.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and welcome again,
The cost of surgery may vary from institution to institution.
However, since the lesion is superficial, it may required local anaesthesia only and it can be excised in day care set up.
Day care procedures are not very expensive.
You may consult your nearest healthcare provider having a surgeon for the procedure.
The surgical wound may have to be repaired with sutures which will take 7-10 days to heal.
