Brief Answer:
It depends on weight , age and Kidney function.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Greetings from Dr.Divakara.P
Thanks for posting your query.

See, Glomerular filtration rate is directly related to person's weight and inversely related to person's age and Creatinine level.

It means higher the body weight higher the Glomerular filtration rate and higher the persons age or creatinine levels lower the Glomerular filtration rate. So if your Glomerular filtration rate (GFR )has reduced it could be due to lower body weight or your increasing age or raised Creatinine levels.

To tell exactly what is the exact reason I need to know your present body weight, age and your body weight and age at the time when your GFR was tested previously.

In addition if you have reports of Serum Creatinine ( recent and previous one ) kindly upload .

Looking forward for your reply.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Your Creatinine is slightly elevated.

Detailed Answer:
HI

In your case the decrease in glomerular filteration rate is due to elevation in your Serum Creatinine.

Now we need to find the reason for elevation ( Note : The elevation is very mild and no need to worry ).

You have already mentioned that you don't have high blood pressure but I need to know whether you have been tested for Diabetes recently and if not kindly get your blood sugars ( Fasting and postprandial ) and revert back with reports.

Other than this avoid any medications ( especially Pain Killers ) that cause damage to kidneys . In fact don't consume any sort of medications without doctor's consultation.

All said and done there is nothing to worry as this is a mild decrease in GFR.

Hope this information was useful to you.
Any clarifications feel free to ask.

Regards.

Brief Answer:
Nothing extra needs to be done.

Detailed Answer:
HI

Well HBA1c is slightly high , it means you are in the pre diabetic range but that range should not affect your Creatinine levels . But still avoid sweets and high carbohydrate food . Do daily exercise .

As of now nothing extra needs to be done . Continue drinking plenty of water and avoid pain killers .

Repeat GFR estimation after 2 months and review with reports.

Any clarifications feel free to ask.
