Detailed Answer:
Hi
Thank you for query.
I am Dr Bharatesh D Basti answering your query.
According the reports:
1. it is clear that first test Done by PCR methods does not detect HIV 1 or HIV 2 RNA.
This test is done to detect the multiplication of virus in early phase.it detects HIV virus RNA component at a very early stage. So it is negative means viral RNA is not found in your blood.
2. second test:The DUO non reactive test indicates that it is negative for P24 antigen and also tells that it is negative for antibodies to HIV 1 and 2.
P24 antigen is also a component of HIV virus which is also detected in positive patients in early phase.
Antibodies to HIV are formed by the body if body is exposed to HIV virus. So negative means body is not exposed to HIV virus 1 and 2 types.
So your tests are negative for HIV and you can allay fears about HIV.
You can get back to me for any clarifications .
