Probably high blood pressure uncontrolled.
Detailed Answer:
Hello and thanks for using HCM.
I have read your query and MRI report carefully.
Small vessels disease of brain as indicated by MRI findings are mainly results of chronic high blood pressure.
Remote small infarction in cerebellum means that there happened a small stroke in the past.
Both these MRI findings are conseguences of nontreated high blood pressure, high blood cholesterol, use of alcohol and tobacco.
In my opinion, you should discuss with your primary care Doctor about having a complete screening of cardiovascular system in order to evaluate factors that predispose to high blood pressure and potential stroke, treatment ant preventive measures as well.
As a start, 100 mg of aspirin per day, if no contraindications, reduces the risk of stroke and stops the progression of small vessels disease.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
