my mother has right leg pain from past 8 months yesterday we consulted doctor who suggested us to do MRI...we have done MRI pls find the attached report and let us know what is the problem.....Thanks

Hi there.
Your mother is suffering from slip disc at two levels in the lower spine which is compressing the nerve to the leg, hence causing pain in the leg.
There are two methods to approach this problem, one is Conservative method and other is surgical.
Avoid bending forwards or lifting weights. Apply hot packs to the painful regions intermittently. Take Tablet Diclofenac with Thicolchicoside combination twice a day for 5 days after meals and Tablet Ranitidine 150mg twice a day for 5 days before meals. If she has radiating pain with tingling and numbness, she can also take Tablet Pregabalin 75mg at night for 2 months. She also needs regular physiotherapy.
If no relief in 2 months, micro surgery can be considered to remove the slip disc.
