What Does This MRI Report Of Spine Indicate?
T1 T2 - sagittal and axial sections of the cervical spine were studied.
The cervical vertebral bodies, pedicles, laminae and spinous processes show normal morphology and alignment.
- Disc bulge with small posterocentral protrusion is noted at C2-C3 level causing indentation on anterior subarchnoid space.
- Disc bulges are seen at C3-c4 and c4-C5 levels causing indentation on anterior subarchnoid space.
- rest of the intervertebral discs show normal signal intensities.
- the cervical cord is normal in size and signal intensity.
- the sorrounding theca and subarchnoid spaces are normal.

Your MRI is nearly normal.
Detailed Answer:
Hi,
Thanks for choosing healthcaremagic for posting your query.
I'm Dr. Sudhir Kumar.
I have gone through your question in detail and understand your concern.Your MRI is normal except there is small protrusion (bulge without damage to its covering) of disc between C2-C3, C3-C4 and C4-C5 levels with just indenting ( slight pressure on sheath of spinal cord) anteriorly. Treatment depends upon symptoms. If there is pain then its treatment is rest to neck (cervical collar may be used), and analgesic such as ibuprofen for pain relief. Mecobalamine may be of use if there is radiculopathy ( radiating pain to arm and hand). You can discuss with your doctor about it.
Hope I have answered your query.
If you have any further query, I would be glad to help you.
Wishing you a good health
Take care.
