Question: Could you please help us intepret this PET-CT report?

I have gone through the PET CT report.
It suggests cancer in stage 4.
It is most probably lung cancer that has spread to brain.
I would advise you to do a biopsy that from the space occupying lesion in the right upper lobe of lung to find the type of cancer and its primary source.

Detailed Answer:
Hi
Chances of it being benign is 25%.
Biopsy from lung is not very difficult to acheive.
During the procedure the patient sits on an exam table. Arms should rest by her sides.
The skin will be cleaned. Then the person is injected with an anesthetic to numb the area which may sting.
A small incision or cut will be made in the skin. The biopsy needle will be inserted. Samples of the abnormal tissue are taken. This may feel like pressure or even sharp pain.
Once the biopsy is done, the needle will be removed. Pressure will be applied to the insertion site. When the bleeding has stopped, the site will be bandaged. Sometimes a stitch is required to keep the opening closed while it heals.
The tissue samples will be sent to a laboratory for testing.
A typical lung needle biopsy lasts 30 to 60 minutes.
1 weeks of time is required for the results to come out.

The reason i ask is because he had no symptoms whatsoever until last Saturday, when he suffered partial seizure in right leg. We are totally taken shocked to hear that this can be 4th stage cancer! He is a non-smoker, and non-alcoholic. What could have probably caused this ao suddenly?
