What Does This X-ray Report Indicate?

Question: My friend was just in a scooter accident and was thrown into a wall and hit his ribs. He has had X-ray and two are partially fractured. Doctors in Bali are suggesting surgery to make sure they don't totally fracture and poke his lung. We would like another opinion.
I uploaded copies of the X-ray.
It is the #8 and #9 ribs.

Detailed Answer:
Hi there.
Thanks for the query.
Firstly, I would like to advise you to consult the Healthcare Magic team to find out how to attach the xrays.
Secondly, I would like to connect that rib fractures are usually not operated upon unless they constitute a flail segment which can risk respiratory activity.
Kindly do attach the xrays and I shall comment on the needful.
I hope I have answered your query.
I will be available to answer your follow up queries.

X-rays attached.
Brief Answer:
No need to operate
Detailed Answer:
In my opinion, the fractured ribs need not be operated upon but only conservatively treated. Do discuss with your doctor if there isn't a flail segment, which can be seen only on the patients chest and not on an Xray while he is breathing.
If there is no flail segment, then no need to operate.
