Brief Answer:
Possible Dimorphic anemia

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I can understand your concern.

I have gone through your attached report as well.

You possibly seem to have mixed/dimorphic anemia.

This is due to the deficiency of Iron and Vitamin B12.

I advise you to get tested for Vitamin B12 levels and for occult blood in stool/FOBT.These tests are used to find the cause of anemia in your case.

The platelet count is marginally reduced in your case. This may not require any treatment as of now.

It is necessary to determine whether the platelets are truly giant or platelets have clumped together during testing. If platelets are clumping, repeat testing may be performed using a different collection tube containing a different anticoagulant that prevents or minimizes platelet clumping.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Relevant info provided.

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I have gone through your attached reports in detail.

Your doctor has prescribed you the right medications.

Negative occult blood in stool rules out GI loss of blood as a cause of anemia in your case.

With regards to diet, I advise you to avoid fried and fatty foods.

Daily oatmeal for breakfast will help you to improve bowel movements.

Regular intake of fruits like apple or pomegranate will help.

Update me test reports of Thyroid profile and Vitamin B12 for further discussion.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you.

Brief Answer:
Nocturnal headache may need a CT brain

Detailed Answer:
Hello, Sir.

I can understand your concerns though.

I have gone through your attached documents.

I could not find the reports of B12 and thyroid profile.

It would be great if you can send them.

With regards to swelling in the calf, surgical drainage may be needed if it did not resolve with oral antibiotics. Please upload images of the calf swelling for better assessment. You may need consultation with surgeon.

With regards to nocturnal headache, it is advisable to get a CT scan to rule out any organic lesions considering your age.

Weakness can be improved with correction of anemia.

Post your further queries if any.
Thank you
