What Does This Blood Report Indicate?

My wife is tested positive for dengue 3 days back. Her platlet counts are 1,17,000; 1,03,000 and 77,000 today. Her wbc improved from 2,000 to 2,500 today.
She hasn't got fever from yesterday, no signs of bleeding and head ache. She has been normal from yesterday. But I am worried about the drop in platlet count.
Please advice
First 5 days is the most important phase..
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, Welcome to HCM,
I've gone through your query and understand your concern for your wife,
Yes, your doctor's right, as it's still in acute phase (up to first 5-7 days), so platelet count can show persistent downward trends (in some individual, there's even a sudden upward spike followed by downward trend again, it's different from person to person and sub types of the Dengue virus)..unless Platelet count drops below 20000, there's no acute emergency..
As of now daily platelet monitoring (along with Hematocrit and WBC count) should continue for up to 7 days (till it's normalized and showed stable pattern)..
It's good that there was no fever from yesterday, good to know the WBC trend is showing improvement too..
However, for 77000 there's no acute emergency as of now, all she needs is rest, ensure to maintain a good hydration (encourage her to drink 3-3.5 ltr of water per day)..
For the time being, I'd advice you not to let her use tooth-brush for cleaning (just for next few days), use mouth rinse and Chlorhexidine mouth wash twice daily instead..
Have high protein diet, lots of fresh citrus fruits, avoid spicy foods, she'll be better within a few days only..
Good that there's no sign of bleeding, but do keep an watch on the motion/urine daily for next 3-4 days..any redness over skin.. Please make sure that she doesn't blow her nose forcefully for the time being, avoid excessive scratching over the skin too..
Let me know if your having any further doubts, i'll be glad to clarify, let me know how she stays later on..
Take Care
Kind Regards

There is no bleeding and no sins of fever but skin is red on some part of her hand. Doctor has given calamine lotion for itchiness and asked us to go for liver function test.
Please advice how to go forward.
Thank you
follow as already advised along with the following advises..
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXX, Welcome back,
Thanks for following up with the details,
Yes, please apply the Calamine lotion, it'll provide soothing effect to the area, she can also apply Aloe-vera lotion through out the body twice daily, it'll help with the redness and itching.. avoid itching as much as possible, try to stay in side Air conditioning, avoid direct sunlight and hot-humid climate exposure, it'll help..
Please ensure to remain well hydrated by drinking a lot water as i've already advised..
Good that WBC count is improving, but please don't panic if there's further elevation in subsequent days as it's expected.. yes, LFT should be done, so please go ahead with it..
I've already explained in details regarding the platelet count and it's trend, so just go through them again, no need to worry..
Please remain vigilant for those bleeding symptoms as I've already explained in the previous reply, if at all noticed any pain abdomen, breathing difficulty, report it immediately to your doctor (don't worry, as it's not likely, but you should be aware before hand for the necessary action at the time of need)..
Taking cold water shower before bed and applying the Calamine/ Aloe-vera lotion afterwards will help her sleeping peacefully..
Just go ahead with these, and with routine monitoring, she should be improving within a few days only..
Let me know how she stays later on..
Take Care
Kind Regards
