What Does This Blood Report Indicate?
Question: Hi Doctor,
In the month of XXXXXXX i started experiencing tingling in my legs (kind of electric waves) and sometimes in hands and head. I thought its something related to skin and met a skin specialist. He advised me to undergo a V B 12 test. After which i met a physician who told me to take V b12 injections. Till now i have taken nearly 9-10 shots. During this I consulted a neurologist , he checked and advised me to continue with b12 injection and also take Vitamin& calcium tablets . Neurologist told me that this has been caused due to stress ( I was in tremendous stress recently) . I have little neck pain too. Definitely i see an improvement , its reduced. My question is how long it may take for full recovery or is there something which i am missing. When i take Vitamin tablet, slight tingling starts off. Is this OK?. How many more injections do i need to take?
Note - I am a vegetarian

Brief Answer:
Continue same treatment as the improvement will be gradual
Detailed Answer:
Hello,
I have gone through your question and understand your concern.
The blood report is showing iron deficiency anemia, vitamin D deficiency and vitamin B 12 levels seems to be in range.
May be the test was done after taking injection.
Vitamin D supplements is also required and should be continued.
The drugs needs to be continued for atleast 6 months.
The treatment will be tapered and stopped once the anxiety and stress is improved.
Hope you found the answer helpful.
Do get back to me for further information.
