Above are my blood test result. Is everything normal?
Brief Answer:
Everything seems to be absolutely fine
Detailed Answer:
Hello XXXXXXX
Thanks for posting your query
I have gone through your lab values
Your lab values seems to be absolutely fine, though there is a mild increase in platelet count indicating after effect of some infection.Normal levels are 1.5- 4.5. But its nothing to get worried about as long as you do not have any symptoms.
But I would suggest to repeat your platelet counts after 2-3 weeks just to keep a check on it. If it still shows a higher value than the present one, it would be better for you to do a renal function test, liver enzymes and ESR.
Hope this helps,

Can it be the rubela vaccine that my wife took few days ago?
Brief Answer:
yes it may
Detailed Answer:
Hi XXXXXXX
Thanks for the follow up,
Rubella vaccine as such will not cause an increase in the platelet values, but it may trigger some post- vaccination reactions such as sore throat, mild fever, joint pains in some, which may result in this variation.
Like I said, there is nothing to get worried on this as of now. The variation in the values could also be due to technical error, as its common to find variations between different labs.
Hope I have answered to your query,
Thanks and regards
