What Does This Cardiogram Report Showing Weak Heart Muscles Indicate?
Question: my daughter (55yrs old) diabetic - had an irregular heart beat and with the cardiogram - discovered she has weak heart muscles now she is scheduled for a stress test - possible a catheter will be needed.

So, I agree with your doctor on the decision of performing a cardiac stress test.
If the cardiac stress test raises suspicions of coronary artery disease, a coronary angiogram ( catheterization) would be the necessary to examine better the blood flow in the coronary arteries and detect possible vessel narrowing.
