Brief Answer:
Voice Therapy will help, ask an appointment with a therapist

Detailed Answer:
Hi Dear user .Thank you for posting your question here .

I read the Report carefully and the treatment that I think of is a Voice Therapy. I think also that the colloid nodule has affected the vocal nerves or muscles In result cord palsy(without excluding stroke ), trachea deviation.

In this therapy your mother will do some excercise ( pushing /pulling up therapy , massage the laryneal muscle ect..)that will help her to strengthen the vocal cords , breathing and protect the airway during swallowing. How it work is by exercising The vocal cords , and to prevent any atrophy until the thyroid nodule dissapear.

You should talk to the treating doctor and ask him/her to find a therapist to do some sessions.Only a therapist will teach the different technices that will help.

Hope It is helpful.
If you have any further clarifications I will be happy to help .
Wish your mother good health.
