What Does This Echo Cardiograph Test Report Indicate?
My Daughter had to undergo a echo cardiograph test. Please find attached the report of the same . I am not able to understand the facts mentioned in the report. Can you please help me to understand the report? Also, please let me know if there is anything in the report that I need to worry about?
The echo report is completely normal :)
Detailed Answer:
Hello, I am Dr. Mody and I will be addressing your concerns,
Mam from what I understand from the report was your daughter was subjected to the test for evaluation of a innocent murmur, and she had no symptoms.
Now coming to the echo report.
As I start, I would reassure you that the echo report is completely normal and she or you need not worry for the same and no further evaluation required for the same.
The report has individually rules out all congenital heart disease by checking each individual cardiac chamber ( we have 4, 2 on right atrial/ ventricle and similarly 2 on left) all four are normal in structure and function, also all the major heart vessels are normal and they lie normally in relation to the heart .. Their inability to demonstrate the venous and coronary is very common in adult echo as they lie in a way such that the echo probe cannot visualise it, that doesn't mean anything is wrong with them. In all probability it's normal and they never give rise to a murmur, so do not worry for the same.
Again as I end. The echo report is bang normal
Any further clarification I would be happy to help.
